Inframince Paradise
A live art duo by Rachel Monfroy and Javier Diéguez.
The “inframince” is a concept coined by Marcel Duchamp referring to the almost imperceptible gap or interval between two phenomena. It is not an objective measurement but a sensitivity to the slightest difference: the warmth left on a seat, the subtle shift between an original and its reproduction, or the faint friction of materials. The inframince highlights the poetic threshold where something changes without being fully perceptible.
